2. What these notices cover
These privacy notices apply to the Biergebabbel partner site. We process personal data only as far as this is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably, to handle privacy-related enquiries or to meet legal obligations.
3. Visiting the website and server log files
When you visit the website, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our server. This may include in particular IP address, date and time of the request, the page or file retrieved, the volume of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and HTTP status code.
We process these data to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security, to detect technical errors and to prevent misuse or attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, functioning and efficient operation of this online offering. The data are not used to create visitor profiles.
Regular server log files are as a rule deleted or anonymised after seven days at the latest. Longer storage takes place only where needed to investigate a security incident, a technical fault or to protect legal claims.
4. Hosting and technical provision
The website is operated on server infrastructure of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner may process data required for technical operation, in particular connection and server log data. Where processing is carried out on our behalf, it is based on a data-processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.
Further information is available in the privacy notices of Hetzner. Technical care of this website is provided under the name EDVentures.tech by the controller themselves.
5. Cookies, tracking and embedded content
This website currently does not use cookies or comparable technologies. There is no reach measurement, profiling or advertising tracking. Services such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable analytics and marketing tools are not used. A consent banner is therefore not required at present.
Images, video and typefaces are served from our own server. Displaying this content does not establish a connection to Google Fonts, YouTube or other third parties.
6. External links
The website contains links to other online offerings. As long as you do not follow such a link, the link itself does not transfer data to the respective provider. After you open an external website, its operator is responsible for the processing there.
7. Privacy enquiries and contacting us
If you contact us by email, telephone or post about privacy matters, we process your contact details and the content of your message in order to review and answer it. Where you exercise data-subject rights, processing takes place to fulfil our legal obligations under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 12 to 22 GDPR. For other enquiries the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the proper handling of your message.
The information is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for handling and documentation and no statutory retention duties or legitimate grounds for further storage apply.
8. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Recipients of personal data may include the hosting provider and persons involved in the technical operation or in handling your enquiry. Disclosure to authorities, courts or other bodies takes place only where we are legally obliged to do so or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. A transfer to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area is not intended in the operation of this website.
9. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as this is necessary for the respective purpose. They are then deleted or anonymised unless statutory retention duties, ongoing proceedings or legitimate interests in limited further storage prevent this. The specific period depends on the nature and purpose of the processing; for server log files the regular period in section 3 applies.
10. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements you have in particular the right to:
- access your processed personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and
- object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise your rights, a message to contact@cavenews.de is sufficient. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. At present no processing on this website is based on your consent.
11. Right to lodge a complaint
Under Art. 77 GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. You may in particular contact the authority of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
The authority responsible for the controller is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, email: poststelle@datenschutz.rlp.de, phone: +49 6131 8920-0.
12. Obligation to provide data and automated decisions
You do not have to actively provide us with data merely to visit this website. The transmission of technically necessary connection data is, however, required for the website to be displayed. Automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
13. Updates to these privacy notices
We update these notices when legal, technical or organisational circumstances or the processing of data on this website change.
